Prayers Needed

If you need prayer for something specific, let us know and we'll post it here.

Bookmark and Share

If you stand in need of prayer, please send it along with who the prayer need is for and the details of the need.  Visit often, pray for each other and send along your needs to be posted here.  Please be considerate of others and post only as many details as necessary, as not to embarrass others.  If the need is unspoken, please say so in the e-mail.  Thank you.
Just e-mail them here.

Let your needs be known and let us pray for you and your family.

If you would like to see a prayer need removed or changed, please e-mail here and be specific as to the changes desired.

Prayer Changes Things Print out this document and hand it to your friends, family and co-workers.

For Whom?

Details of Prayer Need

Matthew Richardson

Matthew is the son of Marc and Kelly and the brother of Joe.  Matthew is 19 years old and is mentally handicapped and is mute and does not speak.  He has ongoing problems with ear infections as well.

Matt Piantoni

Matt is a co-worker of Marc Richardson.  He lives in Lyman and is 46 years old.  He has been diagnosed with bladder cancer and has recently had surgery and will be recovering all summer long.

Cathy Anthony

Cathy Anthony is a former classmate of Marc's.  She has cancer as well and is undergoing the great difficulties involved with that and chemotherapy.

Warren Doersam of Maine Prison Ministries

Please be in prayer for Warren Doersam of Maine Prison Ministries.  What an amazing work Warren is doing for Christ Jesus in reaching those in the Maine prison system.  Pray for Warren's protection, his ministry and that he be able to meet with and develop relationships with those who most desperately need the peace and hope offered by Jesus Christ, in the maximum security areas of Maine prisons.

Marie and Dave Hartsgrove Sr. and family

Please be in prayer for Marie and Dave Hartsgrove and their family. Marie had a stroke on Sunday night September 5, 2010.

Agree with us in prayer for Marie, Dave Sr. and Dave Jr. and family.

Heavenly Father, we can approach You in confidence and boldness because of the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ, which allows You to turn an ear toward our prayers.  You know every cell in our bodies, every hair is counted.

We come into your courts with praise and thanksgiving through EVERY hardship, difficulty and uphill fight.  Father, You see Marie's needs today.  You know the injury that has occurred.  We pray now for Marie's complete recovery.

Marie's constant praises for You and Your grace are a sweet aroma to your nose and a pleasant sound to Your ears.  Restore her body and her voice this very day we pray.

We ask that You cast a warm and thick blanket of the comfort that only You can provide over the entire Hartsgrove family today.  Let them feel the power of your presence right where they are.  Be with them in their travels, be with the doctors, specialists and nurses.  Give them divine insight and guide their hands we pray.  We lift Marie and Dave and the entire family to you with our voices and our hearts and with holy hands.

Amen and amen.

Grace Family Church

Continue in prayer for our church.  We all foresee great things in the future for Grace Family Church Assembly of God.  Pray for the growth of our assembly and for us to reach the thousands upon thousands of un-churched people in York County.

People need the Lord Jesus Christ and often they are not even aware that Jesus is what they are searching for and longing for.  If everyone who does not regularly attend any church in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont suddenly all showed up at our district's Assemblies of God churches, each church body would be inundated with more than 35,000 people each.  There are a lot of people to reach.  Please be in prayer for our church.

Many members and adherents of Grace Family Church have met financial difficulties with this significant downturn in our economy.  Please be in prayer for the financial needs of the church body.

Our Missionaries

Please be in prayer for the missionaries that we support financially.  James 5:16 reminds us that the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.  Our missionaries need our regular financial support to help plan their ministries.  Their children's education, their cost of living, food and shelter expenses as well as their vehicular and travel expenses all are needs that have to be met.  But they also need prayers from us as well.

If you can give a contribution to missions this month, please do so at church on Sunday morning.  If you cannot make it to our church, you may give to the missionaries that we support through our 'Missions' page.

Financial Needs

Let all of us be in prayer for those who are in need of a better financial situation.  There have been so many job losses in the area and within the church body.  Let's be there for our friends and neighbors as the Lord enables.

Pastor David and Martha Stanly

Please be in constant prayer for Pastor David and Martha.  They need our prayers as they help steer Grace Family Church onto the path set before us and as our church grows.  God has a plan for us to reach our community effectively with the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

New Fire Youth Group

Pray for Simon Plourde and the awesome future we have in the Youth Ministries program at Grace Family Church.  What a future they have in Jesus Christ!!

Sunday School

Pray for Rebecca, all of the Sunday School teachers, volunteers and especially the children of Grace Family Church.  Our children represent the future of Christianity in America.

Deacon Board

Please be in prayer for the members of the Board at Grace Family Church.  Help the board members live up to the high standards set for Deacons and Overseers in 1st Timothy 3 and in Titus 1.  Pray for the church and Pastor Stanly as we help to steer and guide Grace Family Church in the direction that God desires for us.  We want to be in the center of His will.  Be in prayer that God will place His hands on our shoulders and point us in the direction that He wants us to go.  We want to be willing clay in the hands of the Potter.

You

If you have a prayer need and would like the church to pray for you and your family, please send it to info@gracefamilyag.org and we'll get it posted right here for you.

If you have a specific need that is unspoken, we can post that here as well.

Mark 9:23 (New International Version)
23 'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes."

At Grace Family Church Assembly of God, we have instituted a Prayer Chain.  This how it works.  The person in need of prayer or requesting prayer for someone else, will call the first person on the Prayer Chain.  Then they will pray together about the situation.  Then the first person on the Prayer Chain will call the second person on the Prayer Chain and then they will pray together.  Then the second person will call the third and do the same and so on down the Prayer Chain.

The first person on the Prayer Chain is Jan Bergeron.  She can be called at (207) 793-2439.

You can also contact the General Council of the Assemblies of God National Prayer Center.  You can find them on the Web at http://www.prayer.ag.org/ or call them now by dialing 1-800-4-PRAYER.
